Session and player flow.
Players need a clear route into the same game and understandable feedback as a session changes.
Unity PC multiplayer game
A first-person multiplayer project exploring shared sessions and battle royale gameplay.
Development story
Battle Royal extends the studio’s game work into networked first-person play. Its built multiplayer foundation connects players in shared sessions, alongside the gameplay and assets needed for a battle royale-style experience.
The project is currently unhosted. Interface quality and asset integration are the next areas for refinement; player capacity and reliability need fresh multi-client testing before a relaunch.
What the work involves
Players need a clear route into the same game and understandable feedback as a session changes.
First-person interactions must be considered alongside what each player sees across the network.
Session status, player feedback and menus should help people understand the game, rather than exposing its technical complexity.
Next stage
The next source review covers joining, spawning, synchronisation, combat, disconnect handling and scene transitions. It will establish the current networking dependencies and realistic hosting requirements. The site describes the built foundation without claiming verified MMO scale or a live service.
What this demonstrates
The same thinking can be applied to a different industry: understand the real workflow, connect the right systems and give people clear control over what happens next.
Your next project
Describe your users, the workflow and the systems it needs to connect. We’ll discuss a useful first version.
