Game prototype
Zombie VR
A game experiment focusing on enemy behaviour and a future virtual reality direction.
The idea
Give behaviour an understandable structure.
The earlier portfolio includes state-machine work associated with a zombie game prototype. Explicit states help organise how an enemy changes behaviour instead of placing every condition inside one growing update loop.
The project’s VR direction remains planned. This is an early systems experiment, rather than a complete VR release.
Transferable thinking
States help software beyond games.
A state-based approach also helps with application workflows: a request can be waiting, active or complete, while a job can have ordered handover stages. Making those transitions explicit can simplify testing and improve user feedback.
Next stage
Connect the systems to a clear playable experience.
Further project review will establish the implemented behaviours and the remaining input, scene and VR work. The first useful milestone is a small playable encounter with consistent feedback and controls.
What this demonstrates
A useful starting point for your project.
The same thinking can be applied to a different industry: understand the real workflow, connect the right systems and give people clear control over what happens next.
